Salat, the Islamic prayer, is an obligation on all Muslims and must be performed five times a day. Vital to Salat is a sequence of poses and gestures that must be performed in a specific sequence. These poses include Takbeerat, Al-Qiyam, Rukku, Qiyam, Sujood, Julus, Tashahhud, and Salam. Often, a person forgets his current state in the sequence and skips some of the steps. It could be due to forgetfulness, lack of concentration, or maybe because the person is new to praying. In this project, using modern Computer Vision techniques, we aim to develop a smartphone-based solution that will guide the person through all the gestures and poses in the right sequence. A worshiper when praying will place his smartphone near him such that the camera will be able to capture his whole body from the ground up. The worshiper can then start his prayer while our app monitors the state of the worshiper in that prayer.
The aim of DocTalk+ is to provide an interface to the Doctor Obesity Clinic so that they may connect with their patients and easily access their progress data. It also aims to help the patients achieve their post-surgery milestones both effectively and with ease.
By implementing analytical features on the platform, we will offer users the ability to monitor market trends for collectible pokemon cards and find out which cards are performing best. And create a space similar to the stock market but for trading cards. The users will also be able to see computed projections made by analyzing the current market trends and making investments accordingly.
UniPal is a cross-platform mobile application. This app fill several gaps in the student community of IBA through its modules of memories feed, student finder, activities finder, timetable and teacher management. Our application helps students connect with one another and enjoy their experience at IBA. Memories and activities allow students to share their moments with others and people can react to them. Our activity management helps people organize whatever they want and find the right audience for it. You can invite others to hangout with you for any event. Our student finder finds similar students based on either your preferences, activities or timetable similarities. At the time of enrollment, you can use our module to generate possible combinations making it easier for you to decide which schedule is the best for you.
This project aims to solve an important problem we identified in educational institutions that students and faculty members face each year. Every year, with the start of final year and the final year project shenanigans, rises an anxiety amongst the students to look for project partners and faculty members as their supervisors. Email being an authentic source of communication, is used by the students and they end up bombarding faculty members' inboxes. This creates a chaos for the faculty to manage their schedules and meetings with groups to decide the group they want to choose, as well as students in finding a supervisor. Hence, our portal allows a dedicated means of communication that provides one-in-all solution for all the parties involved in the process. The portal consists of chats, announcement sections, deliverables section, requests mechanism and even grading and reports in it.
This project consists of features like real-time chat, viewing faculty/student profiles, adding/submitting deliverables, maintaining resources and group progress.
It starts with creating a project and inviting your peers after reviewing their profiles to find the best match for your project. Similarly a faculty member is invited as a supervisor to provide a direction and path throughout the project. Features like chats and announcements facilitate the communication between all parties involved. A coordinator tracks all projects and performs grading according to their set weightages in assisting supervisors towards finalizing project grades.

Raspberry Pi is a versatile and widely used IoT/Smart Computing device that can run many Linux distributions with its ARM-based efficient cortex.
Apart from that it also supports ether and GPIO ports which can be used to connect to many appliances.
Since raspberry pi supports many Linux distributions, we can install a lightweight distribution and build up upon it.
Since the Pi also has a built-in Wi-Fi card and supports many Wi-Fi adapters with monitor mode, we can combine these to make it work like a Firewall, have DNS/DHCP capabilities and set up monitoring for intrusion detection.
Flourish is a one stop online portal for event management that will make Pakistani households receive all their event management needs in a safe digitized manner. The service will be as a live mobile application with integrated payments and transparent registration. Initially our plan is to target the wedding related vendors who will have a profile on our application, with their products and services being displayed to potential clients visiting the mobile app.
Furthermore, we have decided that all the payments and dealings would be done through this platform, and we will implement a mechanism that would enable both parties to honestly do business with each other. The business model includes a 10% cut of each booking which will go to Flourish to facilitate the application growth.
Our project is based on the idea of building a bridge between customers and car rental companies on an easy-to-access basis for the customers and a wider market-audience for the car rentals. Basically, our application will provide customers with a wide array of car-rental options based on their own factors such as model, engine cc, price per day etc. The cars will be chauffeur driven who will accompany them throughout the trip. The customers will have to cover the fuel costs of the car. As they browse through the app, they will be able to view multiple listings from different vendors and it will be on their discretion to select a vendor and go to the next page to complete the booking for the car. The vendors will have the option to confirm bookings, and to creating listings by adding original pictures of the car, its details etc. and view customer details.
We have identified an untapped market in our country, that is yet to be digitized to its fullest potential i.e., the wedding hall/banquet and venue booking business.
Finding a suitable wedding venue in our country is a highly inconvenient process. Key factors such as budget, number of guests, date of the event etc. must be considered and communicated between the customer and the venue management. The traditional approach for this task is to individually acquire contacts for these venues, get quotations and visit the venues to finalize negotiations. In this day and age this process is needlessly hectic, outdated and requires sophistication.
